How to Teach Beginners with Abby Tucker

Whether or not you teach a dedicated "beginners" yoga class, the art of teaching new yoga students is a much needed skill. Do you remember what it was like to not know where your "sits" bones are located? or how uncomfortable sitting in the floor was?

This continuing education teacher's workshop will help you refine your skills including proper sequencing, modifications, the most important Universal Principles for beginning students, appropriate theming and more.

Abby Tucker is a Certified Anusara Yoga instructor, who has studied Anusara Yoga since 1998. Since then Abby has completed thousands of hours ofclassroom and Anusara training hours under the tutelage of her teacher and Anusara founder John Friend, as well as with senior teachers Sianna Sherman, Jim Bernaert and Noah Maze. Abby has assisted John Friend in the U.S. and internationally and serves as an Anusara Certification Committee Member. Abby teaches locally in Berkeley and in San Francisco.
