Music is a sacred art, as it serves as one of the oldest forms of healing in the world. How wide a web can music weave? Accomplished musician-composer Marla Leigh intends to find out. With support from Empowerment workds, LA Yoga Magazine, Yogi Times and Yogamates, she is creating a multi-media, world music experience entitled Rhythms in Peace.

Rhythms in Peace is a land mark global sound healing CD and DVD project which brings together Grammy winning artists with tribal musicans from around the world. Proceeds from this project will go to aid women's trance healing music groups in Morocco and Egypt.
