Surfing Transformation: How to Navigate in Times of Inner and Outer Change
With Sally Kempton

More and more of us are living these days within a vortex of transformation. The experience of intense change can take different forms. For some, there’s a sense of awakening to deeper levels of reality, for others, a feeling of shedding old skins. Situations, jobs, and people you’ve relied on may drop away, while new insights and opportunities demand to be lived. Each new phase of transformation has its own challenges, and asks us to move past limiting ideas and assumptions.
In this workshop, Sally Kempton helps you chart a path through transformative experience, and offers practices, contemplations, and maps for surfing the currents of intense energy that is now moving through so many people’s lives. The workshop is based on the teachings of several different aspects of the yogic and tantric traditions, along with the wisdom of Sally’s years of personal transformative experience.

You’ll learn:
How to find out where you are in your transformative process
Finding balance in the midst of imbalance, and stability in the midst of confusion
Integrating inner awakening with daily life.
Practicing with Uncertainty.
The workshop will include talks, contemplations, periods of meditation and asana.

Sally Kempton is a master of the delicate art of integrating enlightened wisdom with daily life. As a mature practitioner of the tantric path of unfolding kundalini, she not only articulates the subtle insight of the tantras, but generates a field of energy through which others are able to access their own inner wisdom and meditative experience. A former swami, she is the author of The Heart of Meditation, and writes the popular wisdom column for Yoga Journal. Her workshops present subtle teachings with humor and depth, and create a space that allows deep breakthroughs for many of her students.
