This workshop is designed for students who are either new to yoga, coming back after a break and for those who need a refresher on the foundation and safe alignment of poses. Have you had limitations or maybe healing an injury that has made yoga too intimidating to even try? We will go over how to safely build poses with a steady foundation, safe alignment and modifications so that yoga can become a regular practice and for you to enjoy the many health benefits associated with yoga, breath-work and meditation.
We will explore yogic breathing techniques and get a taste of the most frequently encountered yoga poses, with an opportunity to ask questions that you don’t get to in a typical class setting. You'll leave with a better understanding of how to safely practice different postures, and more importantly, learn how to practice poses correctly which will support your body in the long run.
