THE YOGA OF BREATH - FREE ONLINE YOGA SUMMIT

Free Online Yoga Summit

The Yoga of Breath: Pranayama, Prana & the Path to Transformation

Sunday, December 20 • 11:00 AM–12:00 PM PDT

With Doug Keller

Join renowned yoga teacher Doug Keller for a free online exploration of the profound wisdom and transformative power of pranayama, prana, and subtle body practices.

Breath is far more than a physical function. In the yogic tradition, the breath is a bridge between the body, mind, nervous system, and the deeper dimensions of our being. Through pranayama, we learn to work consciously with prana—our vital energy—cultivating greater steadiness, clarity, vitality, and connection.

In this inspiring one-hour summit, Doug will explore the origins, purpose, and benefits of pranayama, bringing together traditional yogic wisdom with insights into how conscious breathing can influence the nervous system, mental and emotional well-being, and physical health. He will also introduce the yogic map of the subtle body, including the nadis, chakras, and movement of prana, helping us understand why breath practices can have such a profound effect on how we feel and how we live.

Discover how conscious breathing and subtle body awareness can help us:

  • Calm and regulate the nervous system

  • Develop greater mental clarity and emotional balance

  • Feel more grounded, steady, and present

  • Support physical health and vitality

  • Cultivate awareness of prana and the subtle body

  • Increase our capacity to meet life's challenges with greater resilience

  • Bring the wisdom and practices of yoga more fully into everyday life

Yoga does not end when we step off the mat. As we become more balanced, grounded, and connected within ourselves, the way we show up in our relationships, communities, and the world begins to change. Our energy affects others. Our presence has an impact.

In this way, the benefits of practice can create a powerful ripple effect—beginning within us and extending outward into the lives of those around us. As we cultivate greater steadiness, awareness, and compassion, we increase our capacity to respond to life with wisdom and to bring the deeper teachings of yoga into action.

This summit also offers a glimpse into the teachings and experiences awaiting you at the Yoga Conference SF, May 13–16, 2027. Centered around the theme Love in Action: Yoga for Healing Ourselves and the World, the conference will bring together inspiring teachers and practitioners to explore yoga as a path of healing, transformation, resilience, and meaningful connection. Through movement, philosophy, meditation, breathwork, music, and community, we will explore how personal practice can create a positive ripple effect in our relationships, communities, and the wider world.

Doug Keller will also lead a special Pre-Conference Yoga Therapeutics Training, May 11–13, offering teachers and dedicated practitioners an opportunity to deepen their understanding of healthy movement, functional anatomy, therapeutic applications of yoga, and practices that support greater mobility, resilience, and well-being throughout life. This immersive training will explore practical approaches to adapting yoga for different bodies and needs while expanding our understanding of how yoga can support long-term health and vitality.

Join Doug for this special gathering and discover how the ancient practices of breath, prana, and subtle body awareness can support not only our own health and well-being, but also our capacity to live with greater presence, resilience, connection, and care for the world around us.

Come experience a taste of the wisdom, practices, and inspiring community that will come together at the Yoga Conference SF, May 13–16, 2027—and discover more about Doug Keller’s Pre-Conference Yoga Therapeutics Training, May 11–13.
